Double Billing?

Early this year I bought a one-month premium subscption, for $8.99, I believe.  Later, I changed to a one-year premium subscription, for what I thought was a one-time fee of about $30.  I just got an invoice for another $8.99, with notification that another invoice will be sent in a month.

1.  Is there a one-time fee for a year's subscription, or a upfront fee of $30 with an $8.99 monthly charge?

2.  If the monthly charges are an error on your part, how do I ask you to fix that error?

Re: Double Billing?

Your account shows that you have actually 2 different subscriptions which you can check here:
https://secure.skype.com/account/call-phones/packages

1) Monthly Skype Premium subscription which enables you to make group video calls
2) Yearly Unlimited US&Canada subscription which enables you to make calls to phone numbers

Since these 2 are separate subscriptions they are charged separately as well.

Re: Double Billing?

I made some mistakes, then.  I intended to buy a year's premium service, and do not want the ability to call phone numbers.  How do I cancel that yearly subscription for phone calls, and change my premium service from a monthly to yearly basis?

Re: Double Billing?

You just need to contact customer service.
Since you have Skype Premium you have access to chat support.
Just follow steps here: https://support.skype.com/faq/FA10656

Alternative is to file a refund request as shown here: https://support.skype.com/faq/FA297
