I have the same opinion of this company. I have also posted my story on another one of the "topics". You may want to try this telephone number in the UK (Tel: (+44) 0870 295 912:cool:... but they are extremely elusive. I would never recommend them to anyone

What a **bleep**ing scam!!! they took the money from my bank, now look, moneybrokers did confirm the payment, now they helding my products and asking me for a photocopy of my credit card! that s crazy! here is what they send to me :

WTF is that? i did send an email for refund immediately, if not so i will complain to the police for internet fraud, as i ordered 5 phones from there!

I've exactly the same problem.

I ordered the RTX dualphone on 10. 10. 2011 and my credit card was charged the same day. I got an email from Chat and Vision and they told me that my order is on hold because they need more information from me like a scanned copy of my credit card and proof of address. How come ? They have my money already. I think they just steal the money from customers. I not understand why a company like Skype deals with Chat and Vision. From now no more email answered. I don't know how I can get my money back?

Yes i don t get it why are they asking additional informations for payment, the money transfer is done by moneybrookers company, isn t this way of payment safe enough for merchant and customers? (like paypal), here is what i did get before receiving their email about sending copy of my personnal data :

The biggest problem is from skype. They should never have allowed to be associated with a compagny that doesnt respect the client. The customer should clearly see before buying that it comes from Hong Kong, i would never have bought from skype if I knew it was shipped from Hong Kong.

 

I ordered mine on november 21. I live in Canada on the east coast, not far away in the mountains in Russia.

 

The first email they sent me:

I am pleased to inform you that your ChatandVision order (SO120124) has been selected for upgrade to priority processing and shipping in our warehouse. What this means is that your selected standard delivery option of 3-10 days has been upgraded to our express delivery priority service. Your order once dispatched should arrive shortly in the next few working days via HK_Post! 

 

The second email:

Kindly be informed that you should expect your parcel to arrive at your mail box in 7 to 14 working days subject to local customs / local weather conditions (if applicable).

 

Oh yeah, it goes from 3 to 10 days to 14 BUSINESS days, thats approx. a 2 weeks difference for me.

I finally got my order "unlocked", they will work that out they said.

 

I got my phones aswell, very fast delivery.

Oh yes thank you for your information but this is unusual for me for many reasons :

1. The transaction was done threw the system "verified by visa" so i was redirected to my bank website to confirm the transaction so i had to use my digi pass from the bank, safe enough.

2. At the time i received an email from you asking for additional information and so the delivery held, the money was already taken from my visa card by a company looking like paypal system, Why not charging the customers after your security checks instead?

3. To put more stress about it, there is no single phone numbers for an help desk to contact you.

I hope that you understand my point and hope to receive my products ASAP.

CHAT AND VISION IS A FRAUD COMPANY. I have the same problem, also bought a RX 3088 phone 2nd november 2011, payed it via Visa, never received the parcel, till today 8th december still no money back. I can only warn everybody to order anything from this company. Its also shame for skype itself to do buisness with a company like that.

I have the similar story. On 11 Dec I paid 58.99$ for GE 31591 cordless phone from my credit card. The credit card was charged. But my order status is still 'Order Payment Failed'.

 

I tried to contact Chatandvision but no one is answering Skype call and I wonder whether chatandvision really exists or I have been cheated. Can someone please provide me the landline contact number of chatandvision.

yes, i wished i had read these posts before i made my purchase via c&v. i made my phone purchase dec 18, 2011 and it is now jan 4, 2012. c&v sends me standard reply emails w/o phone numbers & the same name of 'ana'. my phone calls to them on 2 separate occasions with my voice recording heeded no response. i'm terribly concerned but will give it until the jan 18, 2012 before i exercise my consumer rights. i also partially blame skype for continuing to associate their name with chat & vision since i only bought the phone due to the association. of course, this will only lead my future consumer habits away from both companies for sure!
