Why can't people respond to my sms messages. They receive my messages, but they receive an error message when the respond.

They are unable to reply with an sms because they probably don't have skype credit.

How can I receive sms messages from non-skype users?

There is currently not possible to receive SMS messages on Skype. Maybe in the future this will be possible, but not yet.

I am having the same problem, I can send a sms but the other person can't reply, they get a error message.... i am contacting the Attorney General's Office today

I can't believe that after we pay to send and receive text MSG via Skype we can only receive them back from other Skype users with credits ??????
