Skype ready tv slow video updates on receiver end

I have a new skype ready Panasonic tv with a Panasonic web cam for the tv. The other person sees a frozen picture of us that updates every 10 seconds but ony a couple of frames, We do not have the same problem as the A/V comes thru fine. Our laptop functions fine both ways when skyping. Any thoughts????????? Advice???

Some simple suggestions:

1) Update, if it is a case, your TV firmware

2) Update, if it is a case, your camera firmware

3) Check your router logs
