I have TH-L47ET5 and TH-L55ET5 TVs by Panasonic, with Panasonic Skype camera.
When I try to log in on into Skype on my TV I get :
"We can't log you into Skype at the moment because of a temporary problem. Please try again in few minutes".
No matter how many time I try, over the last 10 days I keep getting this message. The only time I managed to log-in was when I created a new account (on the TV), but after it logged out I got to the same point.
Some more details:
o I have wired network connected to the TV.
o Network is fine, checked using your network diagnostic and browsing.
o when I try to put a wrong password I get a password error message, so I assume the TV can talk to Skype servers.
I also have the same problems with a brand new Panasonic 50ST50 TV.
Doesn't connect to Skype.
This seems to be a common problem, Panasonic/Skype need to get this sorted out!
Same old....same old...the experience does not change. I have just purchased the same model Panasonic and my existing skype account immediately worked on initial set up and then after a few log-ins I get the same message which is a Skype message not Panasonic, so obviously the Panasonic programme is transmitting information incorrectly to Skype. I have since set up 2 new accounts and again ok for first few log-ins the same thing.
Spoke to Panasonic they advised system set up by Skype and it is a problem that Skype will have to sort out....great! so can somebody tell me how you can comunicate directly with Skype and get some?... satisfactory responce.
No...I did not get any satisfactory answer and also have had an on-line with skype help talk after that, with nothing positive....However.... it seems an extraordinary coincidence that the next day turned on TV and it immediately went into an auto program update (internet Program) and when that was finished it immediately auto restarted and Skype opened and all working???? after signing out of skype then could not sign back in again.
Next day signed in ....all good and has been Ok since, I can only assume that Skype were working on the problem as there had been many similar complaints lodged and interesting to point out that a call to Panasonic a couple of days earlier I was advised that it was a Skype problem and not a product system problem!!!
Idem, je viens d'acheter une TV PANASONIC TX-L47DT50E et aucun moyen de se connecter à Skype! Panasonic m'a confirmé que le problème provient de Skype qui n'aurait pas fait le nécéssaire pour configurer leurs paramètres avec ceux de Panasonic!!!
Il serait vivement judicieux de la part de Skype de règler très rapidement ce problème de configuration en proposant une mise à jour efficace aux utilisateurs de TV Panasonic.
Je teste régulièrement l'interface, malheureusement sans succès à ce jour, ce qui s'avère contraignant et frustant!
Si de nouvelles solutions sont disponibles d'avance merci de les communiquer.
I set up a brand new account on teh TV to check everything - it did allow this.
I ran it a couple of times. signed out then turned all back on and signed in on my normal account and this tiem fine - hope it helps...
