I have had great luck and no problems of any kind with Skype's SMS service for the last 2 or 3 years. I will admit I only send SMS's to China because that is my only need.
"BUT"
The last 3 to 5 days my SMS's are all failing. I thought at first I needed to recharge my account but I found it was just recharged with only about $1.00 missing.
"CAN YOU HELP ME?"
I need my SMS's to work again. I like Skypes quick sending of SMS's with very accurate status for each SMS I send. What is great is it keeps trying to send the SMS until delivered with little delay!
"I WANT IT TO WORK!"
Thanks for any help that you can provide to fix your servers or tell me what I am doing wrong but I have not changed my computer for a long time because it is working great.
