SMS messages not being delivered

Same here in Germany, messages are beeing charged but not delivered, really bad service!

Same problem for sending sms to Ivory Coast. 2 months ago it worked fine while now it keeps failing!
Please try to fix the problem asap!

Hello there...! Is anybody paying attention to the sms problem??? Nothing has been fixed so far and what's more, I keep being charged for something that keeps failing!!!

In some cases the mobile provider of the mobile can respond to Skype SMS messages and not deliver them. The only way to verify this, is to have the intended receiver of the SMS message contact their mobile provider, to see if there are any queued SMS messages for that mobile, from Skype that have not been sent ("Yes they save them").

When Skype sends a SMS message, generally it's the mobile provider that acknowledges receipt of the SMS message, if that provider does not sometime later, inform Skype that the SMS message was not actually delivered to the mobile, then Skype has no idea that it was not.

The only way to rule this out as the cause, is to at least have one intended receiver of a Skype SMS message that has not been delivered, check with their mobile provider.

recently left message with similar problem on texts to the Philippines. they show as sent but after 24 hours they revert to failed. However recipients are receiving them as I get replies! I presume there is a communication problem with the mobile network provider and Skype interface.

I am now suffering from this too. It was working fine up until last Friday and now after a year of working fine it has stopped in Thailand. SMS from Thailand to me work fine

Same situation here. I send sms to Cyprus and after the 24th of November none is being delivered. I will contact my recipient here and see what is happening.

Set my preferences so that recipients of SMS can see my mobile phone numer for replies. However, the number that the recipient sees on my SMS to him is a phone number in Chine. My mobile phone is in Japan! What is this nonsense?

And BTW, his replies to me never reach my mobile phone. What a waste of money!
