SMS Not being delivered

Since 3 days, sms not being delivered.........before that, it worked properly for 3 months continuesly........suddenly everything is dead.....i use this service heavily and i am frustrated to heights......if skype cannot resolve it soon, I will quit this service and also recommend others to quit......

all other providers charge 1 cent for sms, this guy charges 6, still we use skype becoz of quality and confirmation it gives. Now, this has become nightmare.

I use Rebtel, it's cheaper, but it's not as reliable as past Skype. I also had a chat with support people of skype, but no use. They know it's a technical problem, they didn't promise that they would resolve it. They don't even have a deadline to fix this. They don't care about our problem.

Thanks mate and thank you for the update on Skype. I do not understand why they have this problem suddenly. I had been using Skype to send SMS never encounter a problem.

SMS failing every single message to my wife in China since Friday Dec 23.  I have asked skype for help they say it is her problem, but her phone company says her messaging working fine and its skype.  I am tending to believe the phone company at this time.  Messaging works fine if I pay the excess cost of cell phone international!  this is ridiculous.  skype blames my computer and my internet but have tried 4 different computers both on wifi and cable!  what the hell gives Skype fix my **bleep** account I pay you for premium,international unlimited and a Business manager.!!!!!!

Exactly, the problem persists since 23rd. U r right. Even for me, it's the same date. After failed for 7 days, around 10 minutes ago, it seems to be back up again. 

Try again now! May be the issue is resolved!

Nope, it still does not work. I sent a message to China and the same error happened, "SMS failed, check number". I wonder this problem is related to MS took over Skype?

I wanted to send a couple of messages to wish people a happy new year. I tested it on my (UK) phone, just to see whether it would work, as I've had problems before. Then sent my messages (to Italian and German phones). One has gone through to Italy, the others have been pending for several hours and I don't understand why one has worked and the others haven't.
