When I sign in to SKYPE, there is NO TOOL BAR for me to select from! I have been invited to chat rooms and to become Contacts but that was done via emails. When I sig in to SKYPE, I have no options except to upgrade. Please advise.
I am totally frustrated with Skype. I get a great click and call tool bar at home, but when I sign in to my Skype account from any other computer including my office computer where I am all day, there is no tool bar, no contact list, no dial pad so no way to call my contacts during the daytime hours when I need to call. All I get is options to buy credit, handle my account, look at history etc. I WANT TO MAKE A CALL. I JUST NEED A DIAL PAD. I have clicked on every possible link without success. And your lack of telephone help sucks. About to drop my subscription.
Having downloaded Skype on my Windows XP computor there is no Tool Bar shown on my screen to enable me to ose Skype, does this mean that I have to subscibe to Premier Service to be be able to operate Skype?
Is there anyone in Tech support to help with this ongoing and apparently COMMON issue? I have done the complete de-install, re-install. I have used %appdata% to delete all references to skype 9(ncluding regedit). Come on, is this a viable product for our business or not? I see "power users" respond with various fixes. HEY SKYPE!!! HOW ABOUT SOME REAL HELP HERE?????? How about a tool to run diags on the problem ? i will install it on my XP PC and run it for you. There has got to be some reason this is happening across the board. HELP
XIED THIS: FIXED THE PROBLEM!!! DO this: 1. Use the start-"run" and type in %appdata% A directory list appears. Go to your sesr name folder and find "CONFIG.XML" Open it with Notepad. Find <UI> element (about 3/4 of the way down page) press enter to add line under <UI> and paste this: <ChromeEnabled>-1</ChromeEnabled> right after <UI>. Save the file and restart Skype. FIXED
