Free calls on mobiles ?

My wife is travelling to India soon. We both have Skype on our mobiles and wifi available. If we are logged on to our individual wifi's at home, are we able to have a mobile to mobile call free, or will we be charged.

It will be free if you are conducting a Skype-to-Skype call.
