BB is better than the alternatives for most things so selling seems a strange option.

I use Truphone which works just fine for calls to anywhere in the world at same prices as Skype. No free calls though.

Yes its a stupid thing that Skype have done. Not answering questions as to why there is no universal availability outside of the USA is just daft.
