Where's Skype for the BlackBerry PlayBook?

The PlayBook OS is the bases for BB10 and will be the future for all BlackBerrys.  

Skype is alienating a lot of people by not releasing this app.

You'll find ReelPortal Private app on App World which works fine.  Put in your first name, give your room a name, and then tell your friends to go to reelportal.com  into your private room.

No doubt this comment will be removed by Skype people as soon as they see it.

Find other alternatives to Skype, people - they are out there !

I just purchased a bb playbook and would love to see skype on it
when it will happen. give us an answer to everybody's question.

Ayone notice it say "Solved:Go to Solution" after the first post?  I'd say it's far from solved wouldn't you??  I'm absolutely stunned at the lack of feedback from Skype on this issue.

I noticed that as well, its like they are just saying that that poster is right and basically we will never know when skype will be availabe so might as well just stop hoping for it.

Ok Skype, no effing problem. I have different skype accounts but I already deactivated all my paid subscriptions. Untill you get your asses up and release the skype app for the PlayBook im not reactivating nothing and Im sure many people will be quitting as well if they havent already. You think you guys are the only internet calling provider? Think again and watch how you lose more customers and on top of that keep blocking yourselfs from making more money by not releasing the skype app for new and existing PlayBook owners who grow everyday.

I don't see any feedback from Skype. Why???? I guess it's time to go shopping. Sorry skype you were good to me over the years but with no playbook support I must leave and try to bring my contacts with me.

Maybe the ones in charge (the Executives) have a grudge against BB and they just do not want to do it. Their loss. Maybe we should all stop asking Skype to do what is apparently not going to happen and start looking for another service that will provide. If Skype finally does release a version many people will be so tired of looking for it they will just never know it got released.

For those that said they would pay extra for the app maybe you are the free service user like me. but their seems to be paying customers out there as well that should be heard and addressed it is just a poor decsion part on Skype to not even answer these post. As others will see it and think twice about being a skype customer.
