Why is Skype Customer Service so BAD [ Edited ]

Skype xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cannot be bothered to offer an acceptable level of customer service.

I have never had to deal with Skype customer service, but i hear it's pretty bad.  A family member of mine had a Skype number and he had several occasions where he had to deal with Skype customer service.  He told me it was horrible.

Whereas I have had excellent correspondence with Skype Customer Service via e-mail.  My questions were answered and issues resolved.  I have no complaints.
