Skype for HP Palm Pre 2

My carrier's website (verizon) says my new HP Palm Pre 2 is able to do skype but I can't find it on my app catalog....

In case that you still got the skype problem:

It's integrated in de latest update for the palm pre 2. It's another synergy service, so type ACCOUNTS And add your skype account. The contacts will be updated after logging in. If you want to add search people, open your messaging app and go to buddies. Use the dropdown menu (in de left corner and select ADD BUDDY.

The best integration of Skype into a smart phone I have ever seen.  Kudos to Skype and HP on great work.

The built-in synergy app only allows International Skype calls. For local calls,

it forces you to use the cellular carrier (in my case Verizon). Bummer. That's how they get you.

So, if you plan to drop the cellular service and use it just for a local Skype phone,

fughedaboudit.
