Skype for Blackberry bold 9790

Please advice is there any possibility to use skype on Blackberry Bold 9790. It is very important for my business. Almost all my work contacts using skype and it is very useful to contact with them instead of calling.

hi there, i bought the blackberry 9790,i did download skype but then it said skype by telkomsel and it is only available to use within telkomsel sim card. can you please help me in here as i really keen on having skype in my phone. thanks

Hi to all,

As you have probably read in the meantime in the other posts of this forum concerning BB, there is no Skype on any BB device, except if you're a customer of Verizon in the US, 3 in the Uk or Telkomsel AND have bought one of their phones.

There seems to be a workaround for the Playbook, but that's it!!!

As Skype is remaininig silent beyond belief in this matter, we must foresee that we will never get Skype on BB... Don't want to be pessimistic, but some realism is popping up after almost 4 years of nothing from Skype regarding the BB issue.

i also bought the blackberry bold 9790. Unfortunately, i was not able to download skype on my blackberry. i was also wondering if anyone knows the solution .

I am using IM+ to integrate skype chat for my bb9790. Free version is limited to 30 minutes per session, then you have to reconnect. 

Not sure if calls are possible on the free version.

To which "free version" are you referring when you say that it is limited to 30min per session? To the free version of IM+ or the one of skype?

Have you found out by now, if you can also use it for maiking calls with skype or only for the chat?
