Your software and kernel version are out of date.
The latest is:
| Product ID : | 10008/1.0.4.800/NETGEAR |
| Firmware Version : | 1.0.4.80 |
| Kernel Version : | 4.1-18 |
| Web Server Version : | 1.5 |
Is their any particular reason why you're using older firmware and was you affected by the last update that Skype did on their network?

@Marek,
The phone you suggest Philips VOIP 841 is the phone we are all having trouble signing in with. Duh!!!
Suggest we look to move to Google Talk .... SKYPE does not support 3 party vendors, and 3rd Party vendors like Philips, once they have sold their device and got your money - don't care. Too bad Philips - last phone I buy from you guys!

I use the 841 phones, just bought two extra hand sets. After turning them on I get "unregistered" on the screen. Pushing the button that says "Reg" starts the process but always fails. Any suggestions?

We have purchased the new Philips VOIP 855 but we have the same problem.
We made a new Skype-account and we can log in by computer, but not with the phone.
Every time we must re-enter our username and password.
The phone gives the only message : Failed to connect to server
The led along the UTP-cable is lightend on the base of the phone, which is connected to the KPN Experia Box TG787.
Can anyone help us?
Philips support information advise: place between ADSL-modem/royuter another router which is DHCP-enabled or PPPoE enabled.

Ok. As for your Philips VOIP841 not going to voice mail. I fianlly figured it out.
I'm going to post this in the dummy way so everyone should understand (like me).
1st. Make sure your SKype is not logged in on your PC or other device.
2nd. You have to set your voice mail greeting on you Philips handheld to the default Skype greeting.
Skype, via chat, has admitted that they are having a problem with "personal greetings", and do not have a timetalbe as to shen this will be fixed.
I did the above and I now have complete use of my Philips VOIP841 phone (albeit the lack of personal greeting).
I hope you cna live with the Skype greeting for now.
I hope this helps anyone like me with this problem.

Welcome to "The new Skype" brought to you by Microsoft.
Software 101 - Ubiquity
The fact that Skype could be purchased as a phone, could run on smartphones as well as computers is why it surpassed it's competition in the initial adoption phase.
If you can't trust that your hardware will be supported into the future then you won't buy the phone.
If you don't buy that hardware then you no longer see an option for that service...which means that others who use skype on their desktops will not be able to contact you. Thus your friends either lose you or lose the software.
...Doesn't Skype compete with Internet Messenger, The Microsoft version of skype? If you can't beat'm - BUY'M
Microsoft didn't grow to its current size by being stupid - The ultimate logical conclusion I will leave to the readers - Afterall, as the song goes, 'You don't tug on Superman's cape'
