Nokia 500 not supported by skype, why?

I used skype a lot on my computer, but now I have a Nokia 500 and I would like to use Skype on my mobile, but skype doesn't work on my Nokia 500. Why?? Please make it work!

Thing is they don't care. I also changed my e51 into 500 and i regret it a little. Skype was very useful to me, like other thousands of people I guess, but I also cant use it now. I truly don't understand their policy.

At least they could make a statement, like 'ok, we admit, the won't be any skype for symbian anna' or 'we'll have it. next year.' or anything.
