Nintendo: D.S.i/ 3D.S Support

[ Edited ]

I know you all get questions and concerns about adding Skype software to the Nintendo: D.S.i or 3D.S. but, I believe it is a good idea that is added to the system(s). Because the system features Face Camera that allow you to take photos of one self. But I know that the camera are very crappy on the Nintendo: D.S.i/3D.S. system(s). But knowing that it can be thought around. Because the 3D,S, haves video recording allowing the video quality to be a lot better.

Sound quality on the D.S. series are not all that great but after having Pokemon series on it with the Voice Chat feature is very interesting that you can actually communicate over the system.

I know adding Skype to the system is steering away from the gaming market that Nintendo wants to only produce to its costumers. But in the eShop of the system on the 3D.S. you can search through the listings that you want to find and Communications as well as Social in there and both are not anything yet. I bet Skype will go very successful on the system too. Well, the file transfer and link posting? Well, that mite be held upon a holt because that will have to pause that application to do so.

I say the features keep all. Even the paying features as well as Video Chatting. Maybe ou can even have where people can pay credit with 3D.S. Cards? That can help both companies out.

I honestly believe the Nintendo handheld industry shouldn't be left out. It sales way more that the Sony handhelds, why not join up with Nintendo and have this Application brought to life?

Oh, and with the Texting? Well, on screen how about having the 3D light flash whevnever you are talking to a 3D.S. user then when you can text to one another you are able to write and or text messages. And with someone you are talking to through a computer the 3D light stays off and you are only able to text.

But why not give it a shot with Nintendo to have the Communication section filled by Skype that everyone dreams of to be put on the Nintendo handhelds.

Re: Nintendo: D.D.i/ 3D.S Support

I for one use Skype on a daily basis and have my 3DS with me most days while wandering around.

Please bring this out on the Nintendo Systems ( WII, has USB ports on to connect a camera, DSI/3DS, 3D back cameras could possibly be used to have 3D Video calling, WII:U, is apparently going to have video calling functions hardcoded to the system!)

All the current and NextGen Nintendo systems have all the functionality required to operate this kind of application and also have a secure eStore where users could purchase skype credit and/or subscriptions using their Nintendo accounts.

I belive between the two posts here we have given you enough of an Incredible oportunity to join forces and make both of your businesses much more accessable to end users!

OK I think i've rambled on a bit much now but please SKYPE make this a reality for us all!

Nintendo: D.S.i/ 3D.S Support

Correct you are. But also, I have went to Nintendo about this but no good answer of what I wanted to hear. Seem like they jus avoided the question with something really stupid. I would actually like to make the software myself but I am not sure to come about that. There issa way to make something with the Skype features. But you actually would have to get Nintendo's conforming of sending it to their software as well. The PlayStation: Portable haves it. Why not the other handhelds? I know the PlayStation: Portable of Skype it requires memory storage to save the history. But the S.D. Cards on the Nintendo products can be upgradeable to a 32 gig S.D. Card.

Nintendo: D.S.i/ 3D.S Support

I wish Mrs. Rose, ut there isn't a download for the Skype on a Nintendo system. I am guessing Nintendo systems are not wanting to be ment for communicative devices. That is why there are about 11 games on the Wii that are Voice Activated, D.S. there about 25 games, and 3D.S. 1 (so far). I guess Nintendo leaves that to the other devices to handle that. And plus. Skype do take up a lot of Conversation History space. So, much memory is needed.

I still believe Nintendo outta invest in adding that Skype feature to all their systems.
