Re: Connection problems with Skype phones

No connection of my Skype Phone Philips VOIP841 to my router (FritzBox 7930) since 1 day. Had the same ca. 1 month ago. Then Skype announced that the issue (with VOIP841 phones) was fixed. Seems not sustainable. I'm frustrated, worked w/o problems until Microsoft...

Re: Connection problems with 1st generation Skype phones

My Dualphone 3088 stopped working about 3 - 4 weeks ago. Unable to log into skype. I live in Perth, Australia. How much longer is this problem going to take to resolve. I am really fed up with this. Skype shoukd be more careful when they release upgrades.

Re: Connection problems with 1st generation Skype phones

Hi Keith

Please note that Skype released a fix for this general connectivity issue already weeks ago which solved the problem for most users.

If you still have connectivity issues, we recommend that you reset the device and try logging in with 2 accounts (for testing purpouses) and if that still fails, contact the device manufacturer for further suggestions.

I recommend a search for your problem and to download the latest Skype.

Hi Jyothimys

Please consult your device Manual on how to perform a factory reset on your device and also try updating the firmware on the device. If these actions don't have any effect, please let us know.
