Recently you may have read about our latest Community Ambassador – Michael. If you’re curious who the Community Ambassadors are and what they do, then wonder no longer.
The Community Ambassador program was created to recognize the super users of our community. When a Skype Community member goes above and beyond for others, we approach them with an offer to become a Community Ambassador. They willingly give up their time to help other users on the Skype Community, and we’re incredibly grateful to them for doing so.
Each Community Ambassador has a different area of expertise, but whatever your issue may be, they always seem to have an answer. Whether it’s a broken webcam or you’re struggling to add a contact, they are true experts and often know solutions and workarounds that sometimes even take us by surprise here at Skype.
The Community Ambassadors attend monthly meetings where they come together and discuss topics of interest with Claudius - the Skype Community Manager - and other guest speakers from Skype. They also help us keep the discussions going on the Community with additional privileges and can show off their status with a special Community Ambassador badge.
I want to thank each and every one of our Community Ambassadors for their time and effort they put into the community and for helping our Skype users.
