Problems with playback device

I have problem with Skype in Windows 8.

When I contact someone, a message come on the screen: Problems with playback device.

Chat is OK, but not Video webcam.

I go to Tools and see Video, is OK.

But it is still Problems with playback device.

How? Can you help me?

For troubleshooting purposes install ManyCam

http://download2.manycam.com/ManyCamStandaloneSetup.exe

 

Choose ManyCam as the audio source

 

In Skype, Click Tools >> Options... >> Audio settings >> Select ManyCam Virtual Microphone.

Choose ManyCam as the video source

 

In Skype, Click Tools >> Options... >> Video settings >> Select ManyCam Virtual Webcam.

See attachment. I had installed Many Webcam, but no Picture of me, only Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 LOOK GOOD!

Which webcam are you using?
Which version of Skype are you using?
Does your camera work properly in Windows 8 Camera App?

My webcam is Logitech 910, it is good. Can talk in oovoo, before can talk in Skype, but now NO!!!

Which version of Skype do you use?
Run Skype >> WinKey + C >> Settings >> About.

Please update to Version 1.3.0.112

First check your webcam and sound card is listed in Device Manager

 

Click Start >> Run >> Type devmgmt.msc

Please run the audio troubleshooter
