What Should I do, I have tried uninstalling all previous versions of Skype..
Cleared my appdata folder and also tried re installing skype for Win 8 a couple of times!!!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Are you running with a built-in administrator account?
Reset IE. Click Internet Options >> Advanced >> Reset >> Mark Delete personal settings. Click OK >> Restart.
Please install the Windows 8 Media Pack to your computer, and then try to run Skype again. You can get the pack here. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.as

I had difficulties receiving calls from outside.
Today I removed Skype from W8 and installed an old version to the desktop. Now all works normally.
Obviously the new version is too "raw" to W8. Test more and improve it before get it to public!!
It's weird. I have 3 accounts on this computer, two of them downloaded Skype without a problem, and mine won't work! The Store says I own Skype, but no icon for Skype is at Start. It's weird! I followed the steps it didn't help
