problem by downloading Skype for MAC

Hello support,

i tried to download skype several times but when the download is almost 

completed nothing happens...the finder window does not open. i have also turned off the firewall and turned of the pop up blocker but it is still the same problem. what can i do now?

Not sure what you mean by "almost completed". You have to wait for the Skype file to download completely and then open Finder\Downloads and double click on the Skype dmg file you'll find there.

with almost completely i mean that i see in the url line the process of download to approx 80% completed, but then the blue url line disappears and nothing happens. when i open the finder there is no skype . dmg file in it to click onto. firwall is off, pop up block also...best, marc

Unless you have specified otherwise, you should find the .dmg file in the Downloads folder (near the right end of the Dock).
