I have been receiving periodic calls from "online help - perform system maintenance!" Another call I received was from "repair.service.asw.8"

these seem to be scams but I do not have the option to block them or to report it. they seem to have figured out how to bypass. I do not answer them but would like to block them. can anyone advise? thanks

It might help to set your privacy preferences (in Skype Preferences) to allow calls only from your contacts.

There has got to be a better way. Does Skype not prevent this type of abuse of their customers?

Wondering if you could help me out. I have tried to fix a problem and cannot get it right. When I can skype the person cannot hear but I can hear them. I know it is in my setting but I cannot figure it out. Can you help.

Check settings in both Skype's Audio/Video preferences and System Preferences Sound preferences. Be certain, too, that you've selected the correct speakers and that your mic is not muted.
