Skype was running fine and has been for years until last night. The only changes made were encrypting my hard drive with file vault and installing some updates.
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)
The skype logo appears on the dock, but the application never loads. All I can do is click force quit on the dock icon. I've restarted, and tried reinstalling skype twice but I have the same issue.
I also removed everything Skype-related in my Library - but the problem persists.
