Double clicking contact does not start call--takes you to contact info

This is very annoying and it makes no sense.

You used to be able to adjust a setting, but I have looked everywhere and cannot find it. It does not seem to be under Preferences.

This is for version 5.7 for Mac.

Any suggestions?
