Call ended - internal error

When I try to use Skype lately, I get the following messages:

call started

call ended - internal error

any suggestions on how to correct (using mac computers)? thanks

Hi,

You might check your audio settings from both preferences (System and Skype).
Be sure to have a selected and active microphone.

I have a Mac also & Skype was working perfectly.  Suddenly I also got the "internal error" message when I did a test call.  I have downloaded the newest version.  Any help out there???

I have the same thing listen to the guy up there but if that does not work then it is probably because you have a bad connection

I am having the same problem and my microphone AND connection are perfectly fine.

I also have everything set correctly with mic & speakers - on a macbook pro - running latest update of skype.   just trying to call a landline.  I had a succesful call earlier - I have skype credit and now it just instantly hangs up after dialing and gives the "internal error" message.  I have tried numerous times and no improvement now.

PLEASE - has anyone found a solution to this.
  Is ther any other tech support for this?

Same problem. I try to dial the number but it only sends the country code and number I am calling, not the city code.  I am trying to call Mexico City, Mexico from the US.  Country code 52, city code is 55.  Then I type the 7 digit phone number. I have tried this on my iPad and my windows 7 computer. All I get is call started, then call ended immediately after it dials.

If trying to call a Mexican mobile, maybe you do forget to put a '1' between 52 and 55 ?

According to  <http://www.howtocallabroad.com/mexico/>  at least...

Else, possibly the callee refuses calls from unknown/hided numbers.
