We just released Skype 6.6.

While we are not claiming Mavericks support yet, the main crashing issue should be fixed.

Please feel free to try out the new version, and report bugs as usual if you see some

Remember though, we do not claim that we are supporting Mavericks. The OS is still in beta anyway . But most things should work!

Re: Skype is not working on new iOS 10.9 Mavericks

I found in another post, by using an earlier version. I got it to work on OSX 10.9 Mavericks. Here is a link.

Re: Skype is not working on new iOS 10.9 Mavericks

It worked for me as well! Now I am running "old" version of Skype 6.0.0.2946, and there are no problems with Maverics. Hopefully Microsoft will release a new version of Skype which will solve this issue, so we don't have to stay on the old version!

I could be wrong, but aren't both of those OSs still in beta?  That might have something to do with it.

Re: Skype 6.5.04 crashes on OS X Maveric and iOS 7. Crash report for OSX crash is attached in the b

Hi!

Thanks for the report!

As you may know however, these systems are only available since yesterday, and they also are in beta, and you can even read this in the Release Notes for OSX Mavericks Developer Preview:

Third-Party Applications and Devices
- Skype may exit unexpectedly

I have edited your message for clarity, but feel free to upload the crashlog itself (as explained in How to report a crash/hang or any other issue)
