"Skype quits unexpectedly"

[JJDUH]

Same here + the well known heating problem due to this I had to downgrade to 2.8 otherwise I would be injured by BURING MY LEGS, what would be a kind of sad :'(

OSX Version 10.7.3

13-inch, begin 2011

Processor  2,3 GHz Intel Core i5

Geheugen  8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Videokaart  Intel HD-video 3000 512 MB

Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)

Every xx minuites skype quits working, seems to freeze and quits.

Even without touching the keyboard.

I have tried everything that the F-secure website said, used the defaults read /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Info LSEnvironment   command, it say does not exist, and then I used 

defaults read ~/.MacOSX/environment DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES , and it say this does not exist also, according to F-secure, this means that I have cleaned this malware 'flashback'

but still somehow skype does not work, same error continues to persist, 'skype quit unexpectedly' 

does any1 have any other solutions to this pls help me

 When reporting issues, please state the cause of the crash:

1) Does it happen on opening the applicaiton?

2) Does it happen on certain operations?

What version of the software and Operating system are you using?

Did your crash report say that it was due to a SIGSEGV fault?

Can you copy the text of the report? 

Also,  if this is not your issue, start a different thread, perhaps with a better to differentiate your problem / solution from this problem/solution.

I dont have that Trojon on my Mac, or at least not that I know of, any other methods?

I have been having the same issue for months. (Clearly I'm not an avid user.)

The only thing that I could figure out as a solution was to download an older version as well. 2.866 seems to work just fine

I've been having gthe same problem, but I also go the "quit unexpectedly" message with Word and Excel too.  It's a Java update for Lion that fixed it for me.

i did software updates and found i also had malware. once it got rid of that i could run skype.

This worked and took about 2 minutes. Went to f secure typed in flashback, downloaded, restarted and was working fine. Thanks
