blog.intego.com/flashback-mac-trojan-horse-infecti
If you want to be sure, open your Terminal, type those commands and report the result here:
ls -la /Users/Shared/.*.so
cat /Users/*/.MacOSX/environment.plist
if the command succeeded without an error, you're infected and the file listed by that command is a part of the malware.
There's also other malware files on your Mac, so either reformat your mac or use an AntiVirus program to repair the damages.

THANK YOU RUNGOOD4U! I've tried alot of the other advice, with no results. This finally worked ... as far as I can tell, right now, anyways. You did help someone that needs to communicate with their family overseas!

I've been having the same problem on our mac for the last few months. One way of accessing Skype is when you create another user account on your mac.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/1
For some reason Skype works on all the other user accounts except for our main account.
