notification of incoming call

Is there any sort of flashing light to notify of a person trying to call you or only a sound?  Deaf people need something to alert them that is visual.

I need this, too. I'd like to see Skype have an option to send a signal to the USB port whenever a call comes in, and this would in turn trigger either a plug-in USB light or an electronic relay that could flash a larger household lamp or strobe light.

not just for hearing impaired folks. This important if I'm in another room from my computer, or if I leave my headset plugged in.
