new version logs me off

Since i downloaded the new version, every time i open my skype it automatically quits. I tried uninstalling it and redownloading it but it wont help. Please help me.

I have the same problem.  

It says "Problem Report for Skype"

"Skype quit unexpectedly"

 then has the problem details and system configuration log.  

I'm eager to use skype so I hope this is fixed soon or we get a workaround.

The latest version of Skype and it's kicked me off too. The message I get is it 'will not be supported on this architecture'. I have a fairly old mac, but I use Skype A LOT. Please let me know how I can get it back! :0)

Hi,

You are probably trying to install an Intel only Skype version on an older PowePC Mac.

You might try to download and install an UB Skype application from the following link :

http://www.skype.com/intl/en/get-skype/on-your-computer/macosx/2-8/downloading/

thankyou for the advice. it did help, it no longer shuts down and gives me the error msg. but i guess this means that i cant update my skype app and im stuck with an old version. u ve been great.

Thanks for good information, but i can't install. I think my OS is windows7 is reason.

How can I solve ?

my skype is shutting down occasionally to disturb me to do works.

Suddenly skype started to log me out automaticly, even I was using new version for a while. Well done microsoft. all you can do is just ruin a good app. While it was belonging to Estonians there was no proplems ever...
