how to skype on linux

i downloaded skype on my linux ubunto supported laptop and i cant figure out how to video call peaple i use my phone for skype but i want to use my computer

I'm not absolutely sure but I think it has to do with what version of Skyped you are using. To be sure, download the latest version.
