Ok, we get it your business model is to make money by people making calls. There is absolutely no chance that I will ever do this. Why do I have to see the stupid dial pad?? If I was making international calls...maybe, but why for the love of all things reasonable. There are a hundred better ways to force your business model down someones throat, doing it in a repeatedly annoying fashion will only lose your potential customer base.
What's most annoying for me is how it grabs my keyboard so that when I'm trying to type a message to a contact, instead I'm typing in the dial pad box.
Let me put it this way: annoying windows interrupting what I'm trying to do are a lousy way to encourage me to use the product at all, much less to spend any money on it.
Giving Skype the benefit of the doubt that they understand this, I choose to believe this is some kind of bug and will be reporting it as such.
Count me in! This Dial Pad is driving me crazy, and it pops-up even if the Skype window is just minimized and maximized. I'd take one time Dial Pad pop-up on initial Skype start, but when it is minimized let it stay there, we all know how to open it, if needed.
Hope Skype team will fix this VERY soon!
The Beta 22.214.171.1247 version fixes the pop up dial pad issue. However, we now get the ever persistent Skype Home screen as the next freakin' annoyance.
Can they just not leave it alone?
and i will add my complaint as well...
microsoft, where are you????
this has almost made SKYPE totally unappealing to use
and the GUI is fushizzle now...
who is in the design area now, Homer Simpson?
I only can agree with previous comments...
this dial pad drives everyone crazy and doesn't bring any benefit! Just installed 5.4.0 1217 but it doesn't help!
Dear Skype Spype Team... hear the voice of customers and fix it soon!
I already did everything
And this won't help if everyone have it even if it works
because Skype has to fix it and publish it by itself. No one can edit and remove these files. am i right?
