after i login my skype sucessfully skype automatically quit

hello, I have problem in Skype 2.2 (beta) . I am using skype in Ubuntu 11.10. 

My problem is when i attempts to login the skype using correct password then after some time skype automatically quit prompting no message.

But when i enters worng password or user name then it is saying incorrect password.....

I could not understand what is wrong

Same problem here too.

skype logs in successfully and then quit abruptly.

Few things I tried to resolve after getting some tips on Ubuntu forums, but no luck!

--delete the "shared.xml" prior to login. This is at .skype folder in your home directory.

--Tried/wanted to change the library permission file(s) libpulse.so.0.12.2 in /usr/lib32 by doing sudo chmod ugo-r libpulse.so.0.12.2 but came back with 'sudo chmod ugo-r libpulse.so.0.12.2'

Help us out! what is going on?

But there is not any folder name lib32 inside /usr/  so that i can find libpulse.so.0.12.2 and change its premission as you sugested ..

How you solve "skype logs in successfully and then quit abruptly" problem ...........

If you  find some more technical solution of this problem the plz share..........

I remove skype and reinstall it then also it is not working.........

Do any body know which version of skype run smoothly in Ubuntu 11.10 --------------
