Ubuntu 12.24 - no way to use skype!!!

hi, Current Ubuntu 12.4 64bit package is useing QT4 and
conflicts whit skype,... if skype installed lot's problems
and in stability whit many sofatware,... I had remove Skype,..
IS THERE ANY OTHER SOFTWARE TO GET SKYPE BACG,...

With Ubuntu 12.04 (not 12.24) you can normally use the 32bit ubuntu package since they introduced multiarch.
I do not get what and where should conflict with so many other software, runs just fine here.

Running Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit on my Sony VAIO laptop and haven't experienced any problems. As Cimmo notes, you should be able to try the 32-bit package, as well.
