Have MacBook Pro OSX Lion 10.7.3, and have been trying to upgrade Skype to latest, but message "Skype already in use" always comes up. How can I find where it is in use and close it down ? Also cannot remove Skype to reinstall, same message appears preventing deletion via Wastebasket.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You might go to 'Utilities' folder >>> Activity Monitor.
From 'Processor' panel, search for Skype and then kill process.
