Hi,
This issue was reported -- but not solved -- in a previous thread, from page 3 ; since this thread concerned another issue with ubuntu 11.10 64 bits, I am opening here a new thread to discuss it and find a solution.
Since upgrading from ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10, Skype is not working properly anymore on my laptop. Installation is OK, it runs OK, but only for a while: after having a conversation for about 5 min Skype systematically crashes. No recovery is possible, I have to kill the application. Also, whenever that happens, my sound settings get screwed up -- more specifically, my speakers get muted.
Did anyone who had this problem find a solution?
