Skype for Mac does not show "unread" IM

I am using Skype v5.3.59.1093 on Mac OS X Lion v10.7.2

When I used to use Windows skype, and I minimized skype and I got IM's, when I returned to view the IM's, the new unread ones would have a yellowish circle at the right side of them. Sometimes, especially when following a group, there can be hundreds of messages, and with these circles it was easy to scroll up and find the spot where I left off the conversation.

On Mac skype, I do not see any type of indicator on the messages that tells me which ones are new, so it is pretty much impossible to determine where I last left off the conversation.

Am I missing some option that turns this on, or is the feature just not available yet on Mac skype?

Thanks

Hi Skype Support,

This is really bugging me too. Can we please get an update as to when we can have this feature in Mac OSX as well?

Thanks,

Jin
