Since upgrade of my iMac computer to OS Lion, Skype does not function well with Bluetooth in the computer. Is there a known mismatch between Skype and Lion Bluetooth? Same Bluetooth headset(S) worked perfectly with Skype under Snow Leopard…now, there is always breaking up, though Skype works perfectly with wired headset. And both Bluetooth headsets work perfectly with the iMac Lion sound system for all other applications, e.g. iTunes, websites, etc. In the process of preparing this, I read entries in your group of Mac helps, and, as a result, downloaded and upgraded to Skype 5.3.0.1093. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth headset still produces breaking up of sound AND going to preferences to pick an audio output now causes Skype to crash...repeatedly (as you have probably counted from the number of error messages on 09/17/11)... AND, again following the download of 5.3.0.1093, the new version in preferences does not support the built in camera of the iMac which it previously did without incident. Please advise it there are patches and/or upgrades that will again allow me to use the built in iMac camera and my Bluetooth headsets with Skype.
