You can either enter in your terminal the following command:

open ~/Library/Preferences

 Or you can go in Finder > "Go" menu in top bar > press "ALT" button > this will reveal a Library shortcut: click on it > go to "Preferences"

Once you've opened "Preferences" folder you should find those two files to delete. That worked for me too

Hi,
1. turn on your invisible files "on". You can use "Invisibility Toggler" script (find it with google)
2. search your HOME directory (YOU/Library/...) , just enter "skype" and you'll see them..

I also needed to delete

~/Library/Saved Application State/com.skype.skype.savedState"

and

~/Library/Caches/com.skype.skype

Hi, but i dont have those files! i look in the search tab and in the folder itself and nothing. and still have the problem! any other suggestion??

Those files are hidden in Lion.  Try this: in the Finder, hit CMD-SHIFT-G to reveal hidden folders.
