No more sound after a few minutes Ubuntu 11.10 Skype 2.2.0.35

Well, I have a problem with my box. When making Skype to Skype call after a few minutes (<10) the sound doesn't work anymore. Then I have to kill Skype because I can't close/quit it.

First I had Ubuntu 11.04 which I upgraded to 11.10 because I thought this might be the problem. Then I reinstalled fresh and the problem remains.

I'm having the same problem, but i'm not able to solve it. I think it is related to the sound settings.

I have the same problem, with Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bits). Every time I have a conversation of more than ~5 min, Skype crashes. Also, my speakers get muted.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my sound settings. The problems seems to be very common. Perhaps it is general for Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bits).

No sound after using Skype 2.2.0.35 on Ubuntu Linux 11.10

No audio since a couple weeks ago here too. Skype correctly recognizes PulseAudio, but I get no output (from the tests), and I can't even answer or initiate calls. If I change to an ALSA profile it works, but then ALSA locks the device and PulseAudio can't mix other streams to it.
