MAC - Skype Signs In, But won't go online. PC - No Problems

I have a Mac and PC on my desk at work, same network, proxy etc. PC works fine however the Mac logs in to Skype but won't go online. An older version of the software runs fine.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem and realized PeerGuardian was blocking the connection. If you have PeerGuardian , it may be an issue. Open PeerGuardian, go to 'File" then "Disable Filters". Good luck
