Could someone from dev team tell us when we can expect video conference? I don`t care **bleep** numbers, Linux version can be even 2.2.5 beta for ever, just add video conference into it. When can we expect any update? Are there at least any plans to do so? Come on... :<

Re: Linux video conference

I want the same feature too. I need to share my desktop to my colleagues during video conferencing. If Skype does not provide this for Linux users, we may consider moving to Google+ Hangouts and Cisco WebEx.

Re: Linux video conference

I have been trying to video conference.  This thread implies I cannot do that at present (I run Ubuntu).  When will it be available.  Alternatively can anyone recommend an alternative to Skype?

Re: Linux video conference

We are now happily using Google Hangout which supports video conferencing for free.

Re: Linux video conference

I have skype-ubuntu_2.2.0.35-1_amd64.deb installed on my system and the options that I have are shown in this graphic which indicates the Conference Calling is available.  I have yet to try it and I would be interested to know if anyone has had success with this option.
