How to start up my chat option?

Where can I find my Skype IM option. I log in, it says welcome. I see all of the little options in the blue circles, but don't see where I can click to bring up my IM tool bar etc. I can't find anywhere to open it from, so I can IM. I have a mac.

It sounds like you're signed in to your account with a browser.  You have to actually install, run, and signin to the Skype program to use it's features.

Download then run the Skype installer via this link:

www.skype.com/go/getskype-macosx

When the install is complete, signin with your Skype name and password and you'll be able to start using Skype's features.
