Mac video calls not free ? Says buy credit when trying to call. Please advise.

Skype-to-Skype calls are indeed free.  Skype to phone number calls are not free.

Scroll down to the Skype for Mac section in this link:

Click on the links for Adding contacts and Calling someone who's on Skype/

That may clear up your problem.

My computer have been removed windows because loose some files could not run, then reinstall and could not working with Skype (Can not install Skype)

I have Skype on another computer.  Is there a way to access my existing call directory and move any information from that computer to this one?  I have kept the same username.

I have paid for credit re calls to France which are apparently free, can I get a refund ?

It is impossible to make free calls with Skype now.
Going to remove this stupid program.

Don´t call it free when it isn´t.

I have received a mail from Skype that calling to all your friends & family is "FREE" thru an advertisement, i have gone thru the link and the below reply came from Skype, Now they have taken Rs.800/- from my account for activating the subscription, while the mail state that it is totally free ?>? anybody help me regarding this.

It's not the programme that's stupid.

All Skype video calls are free. You have to pay for phone calls. It might be worth reading about the programme first!!
