Can't see the other party on video calls

with due respect i want to ask that i m using skype video calls since 1year.now i cant see one party s video on video call.however i use skype video call with 2parties just icant see video from one party.plz help me

It looks as if many  people are having problems, either they cannot see the other party or the other party cannot see them. Nobody ever seems to reply with any help. What do we do to get any help from Skype?????

Can't see other party on video calls.  Audio is fine.  Have an Ipad2.

I have the same problem.  I have a PC and the other two have Macs.  We can do a single video chat but as soon as we try to do a group chat, the camera turns off.  Sometimes the Macs can see each other but I am never able to see either party.  It seems to me that, if you pay for group chat, you should be able to see each other.

Hi, 

Group video calling feature is still not available in Modern UI Skype version (from MS Store). 
Until it becomes available, you can use Skype for Desktop.

I've used Skype for years, it served me well while I was off travelling. I have a new windows 8 Ultrabook, the newest version of skype came pre-installed...I couldn't see my friends when they called me, and the audio was poor. I read through comments on here which mentioned uninstalling the new version and installing 'Skype for desktop' which I have done....I still can't see my friends when they call! It seems so many people are here having this same problem and yet no one from Skype is posting a solution, a suggestion or even an explanation saying they're investigating?! Pretty poor form

Hi, please make sure your friends are using latest versions of Skype on their platforms because if they are using some really old client version, there might be incompatibility. I hope this helps.
