Hi,
I was using Skype in Mac 10.6.8. Today while my skype was on in Mac I also logged in with it in Windows computer (I had just installed skype in windows and logged in for the first time).
Then I did not delete any contact by myself, but I don't know what has happened a LOT Of my contacts have got deleted and I can't see them anymore.
I tried adding a couple of them and on asking them if they got a friend request from me again they say they were still able to see me in their list, and didn't even get a new contact request again.
I don't know what has happened.
I used to have total around 350-500 contacts in my list, I see only 140 now.
Also some 80-90 people were opened in my skype chat window, here I used to keep people I used to talk most of the times (I am talking about how I used to use Skype in my MAC) and whenever they used to be online I used to see them online, rest of the time I used to see a 'X' offline sign. But right now I am seeing most of them as '?' Question mark sign i.e not in my list. Then I right click on them and click on "Add to Contacts" and I get a window of saying send contact request but actually no contact request is sent and I am able to see them back in my list showing online (and also when I ask to that person if they got a friend request they say they didn't got any friend request from me, and I was in their list before also).
But some people who had deleted me in past but are still in my Skype Chat Window when I right click on their name it shows "Send Contact Request".
So I think you must be having some kind of contact list on your server which you should update again, I don't know what has happened.. I am freaked out right now.. all my contacts were sooo much important and all were business contacts and I cannot afford at all to lose them.
Please do something and get them back for me.
