5.7.0.1130 - missing Bluetooth devices / doesn't remember login and password

I've been using 5.1.0.935 for ages now. In the last while, two upgrades to 5.7.x were offered. Both give me the problem of my Bluetooth headset not showing up in the device list and both require me to always input my username/password to go online.

We won't go into the UI of 5.7, which was a horror that I'd sooner forget.

All in all, a complete waste of time. I'm back on 5.1.0.935. Thank goodness for Time Machine; rolling back from the bad install took all of 60 seconds.

Thanks, but I don't need to download it. I've been running that version for ages now because newer versions cannot find Bluetooth devices correctly.

Yes I know, I was putting this for people having the same issue as us, in case they find this thread as well. Wasn't very clear...

Does this Skype version run on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion btw?

Unfortunately, I have no idea. I'm still running on Snow Leopard.
