I recently merged my Microsoft and Skype accounts together, but when I go on Skype, I don't see my Messenger contacts on there at all. I even put the list to Messenger and NOTHING is there. What's going on and how do I fix this?
Same thing happened here.
I was able to show all my contacts (windows live + Skype) when I logged on skype using my Windows Live account.

I have the exact same problem. I merged my accounts. And all the contacts were showing up just fine at first. But the next day there were just some random contacts left. Most of the imported contacts will not show up. I hope this gets fixed ASAP.
EDIT: I logged onto WLM to see if maybe I could see my contacts there, but they're missing from there also. What happend?
I'm having the same problem. I've merged my Skype and Microsoft accounts, and logged into Skype using my Microsoft account, but only my Skype contacts are showing up.
I've set the Contact Lists to display option to "All"; it doesn't help. I've also noticed the "Messenger" contact list is blank.
Hi, i had the same problem the other day, then just tried to find one of the messenger contacts using the search bar at the top of the contacts list.
Magically, it showed up, so i added it to a new list to not lose it. And surprise surprise, all my messenger contacts were there in the contacts list. So i switched the listing to "All" and now everything seems to work.
Let me know if it worked for you too!
I had same issue as well... no contacts showing up on skype.
And I try login with WLM again, seem like all my contact with email address XXX@hotmail.com all gone. Only left those with XXX@yahoo.com contact still remain appear. Seriously... How can Skype and WLM allowed this serious bug occur?
Have you tried what I did on skype? For me it worked great, but I haven't lost my contacts on windows messenger... that is indeed weird.
